Young representatives from civil society meet with the mayor of Villa Altagracia on proposals for human rights guarantees and support on issues of vulnerable youth.
The Association Red de Jóvenes 2J14, made this Wednesday, July 7, 2021 a presentation to the Mayor of Villa Altagracia in order to learn about the project "Talent with Prevention 2.0", which aims to train young people in prevention and health issues , turning them into facilitators, so that in turn they train their peers through art.
The program aims to train more than 600 young people from different communities of Villa Altagracia who are in vulnerable conditions.
The Municipal Mayor José Miguel Méndez expressed great interest in the project and the willingness to support programs that encourage the participation of young people in the design and application of public policies that benefit the development and growth of their communities.
